For Contributors
Texts already published or accepted for publication in other journals or books will not be accepted by the editorial board. The peer-review process, the editing and the publication of articles is done according to the Musicologica Olomucensia ethics statement.
The articles can be written in English, French, German, Czech and Slovak (4000–8000 words including footnotes and bibliography). Submitted papers should be formatted for blind review, omitting any references to the author and his/her publications. In accepted papers such references can be added later. Author’s name and affiliation, including the e-mail address, should appear only as a part of the cover letter.
The text of the article should be accompanied by an abstract in English of some 20 lines (250 words), with three to seven keywords in English in alphabetical order. Reviews of books and congress proceedings should present all necessary bibliographical data concerning the reviewed book, including the place and dates of the congress in question.
Style Sheet Rules
Submitted texts should be written in one of common text editors (doc, docx, rtf, odt), in the Times New Roman 12 font, line spacing 1; pictures and figures should be submitted separately in formats as jpg, tif, eps, and gif.
The Musicologica Olomucensia follows the Chicago Style Manual (Notes and Bibliography Style). The basic style guidelines can be found here.
